Abstract

A 10-month-old male patient is admitted for hemifacial paralysis and right hemiparesis of one month of evolution. In his neurological
examination it is observed with dysmetria and right lateropulsion. His magnetic resonance imaging study is observed with an extraxial intradural lesion with mass and erosion effect of the occipital scale, with transverse sinus occlusion. Prolonged thromboplastin time is recorded with a diagnosis of mild hemophilia A (factor VIII activity 12.8%). Factor VIII is replaced with subsequent resection of the lesion. The histopathological study reveals chronic subdural hematoma. The patient evolves favorably for what is subsequently discharged. The hemophilic pseudotumor should be considered part of the differential diagnoses of intracranial lesions in hemophilic patients.
