Abstract

Neurotrauma is currently a public health problem, being more common in adolescents and young adults, and its main cause is traffic accidents. In many occasions, this type of injury is compromised through afferent, efferent and autonomic visual pathways, which are known as neuro-ophthalmic lesions. For its diagnosis a good physical examination is required in the patient and as well as the adequate treatment for it, with the aim of diminishing or eradicating the symptomatology with the curse of the patient. Objective: To perform a review of the most common neuro-ophthalmic lesions in the patient with neurotrauma, its  diagnosis and management recommendations.
